Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 June 2026
GreenEarth.news ("we", "us") publishes environmental and clean-energy news. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Newsletter: the email address you submit when subscribing.
- Comments: the name, email address and comment text you provide, plus the IP address of the request (used only for spam prevention).
- Analytics & logs: standard usage data (pages viewed, browser type, approximate location, referrer) collected via Google Analytics and our server logs.
- Advertising: if ads are shown, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads.
We do not ask readers to log in, and we do not sell your personal data.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for (every email has an unsubscribe link).
- To display and moderate comments.
- To understand which stories readers find useful and to keep the site secure.
Third parties
We share data only with the service providers that run the site: Google (Analytics, and AdSense if enabled), Hostinger (hosting and our email/newsletter service), and Meta/Facebook (when we publish a story link to our Facebook page — this shares only the public article, not your personal data). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the site to function and analytics/advertising cookies as described above. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.
Data retention
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Comments are kept while published. Server logs are rotated regularly.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. See our Data Deletion page for how to request removal.
