Tata Motors to Launch 5 New Electric Cars in India by 2025

Tata Motors is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle (EV) lineup in India with five new models set to hit the market by 2025. The announcement comes as the automaker aims to strengthen its position in the growing EV sector.

The Upcoming Models

The new lineup includes the Sierra.ev, Safari.ev, Avinya, and two additional models yet to be named. The Sierra.ev and Safari.ev are electric versions of Tata's popular SUVs, while the Avinya represents a new design language focused on futuristic EVs.

The Sierra.ev is expected to feature a sleek, modern design with advanced technology and a range of over 400 km on a single charge. The Safari.ev, on the other hand, will likely retain the rugged appeal of its petrol counterpart but with zero emissions.

The Avinya, showed as a concept earlier, is built on Tata's Gen 3 EV platform. It promises a premium experience with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Details about the remaining two models are still under wraps.
